Company Profile

The Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA) was set up in 2003 to enhance the professionalism and profitability of its members through effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training, and by identifying and meeting the needs of inbound tourism. JITOA is a voice of action for its members, bringing tourism stakeholders closer together to provide a better product supported by such entities as the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board. JITOA and its members are active participants in the implementation of the 2004-2010 National Tourism Strategy, a five-year plan outlined by the Jordanian government in 2004 to create a sustainable tourism sector that will become one of the major contributors to the national economy. The Strategy is based on a public private partnership by which the latter will take an active role in its implementation.
