Jordan Society for Quality is a Jordanian independent and non- profit Organization. It was registered under Social Societies and Organizations Law No.(33) of 1966. The Ministry of Interior endeavors to disseminate and spread the Culture of Quality in all segments of the Jordanian society and in different realms of work, in a way to promote and improve life style and National Economy. The Society was founded in 1995, and was registered at the Ministry of Interior under No. 722/30. The Society embrace all members who care about the culture and science of Quality. Members are divergent ranging between individuals who care about the quality culture to persons specialized in Quality Control fields and organizations. It also embrace both private and public individuals and firms. Working and active members of the Society form its "General Committee", which elects the board of directors. The society undertakes wide-range of activities with cultural and educational nature. Its activities aim at networking and building more fruitful and productive relations with various bodies and authorities which are somehow similar to the Society. The Society also has various activities that aim at enhancing the potentialities in quality related fields. Many individuals in the Jordanian and regional communities benefit from such activities. Most of those people are specialized in quality control and management, and represent various industrial, cervical, and commercial companies and organizations. The activities of the Society can be summarized in the following: 1- Raising the awareness and increasing culture on general and specialized quality fields. 2- Promotion of the community and highlighting the concept and culture of quality. 3- Co-operation and networking at various levels. 4- Building the potentialities and skills that are related to the quality for the professionals. 5- Highlighting specialized professional services in quality as (certificate of quality manager) etc. 6- Certificate of Jordan Quality Manger. Enhancing the international and regional exchange of expertise, and mutual activities.
