Aquaelecs was founded in 2002 in Antalya, Turkey to provide electrical and electronic system design and engineering services for motor and sailing yachts. Aquaelecs was the first engineering company in the yacht manufacturing sector to develop in this region. Due to developments in the Yachting sector and in order to meet the new demands, Aquaelecs began providing marine electric and electronic materials to the industry from a large dealership and distributorship range. In 2005 we created a new installation department to complement our system engineering and Aquaelecs began to give an installation service. With this service Aquaelecs became the first subcontracting company with engineering capabilities in the Antalya area. In 2006 Aquaelecs opened its first branch in the Antalya Free Trade Zone in order to better service the region’s growing yacht building and refit sector. We have the distinction of being the first company in the Free Zone to serve the shipyards with an industrial materials trading license. Since this time, and to meet the demands of the Free Zone shipyards and other electric companies together with our own projects, Aquaelecs started to produce custom made switchboards and electrical panels. Again we were the first company in the Antalya Free Zone to obtain a manufacturing license for these products in the yacht building industry. Aquaelecs continues to develop partnerships with international companies in the fields of engineering application, material procurement and system solutions to cover complete ship electric and electronic systems from project design to turn-key implementation for an international clientele. We continue to contribute to this sector with our innovative ideas in the rapidly changing world of electrical and electronic technology. We are committed to the principle of leading the way in this fast growing industry.
