One of the oldest and biggest four commercial Jordanian banks. Established in 1960 with a capital of US$ thousand 494 distributed on 70 thousand shares. The bank moved along with the developing movement of the Jordanian economy and contributed in supporting the activities of different types of customers: individuals, corporates, and institutions of the first generation. The bank enhanced its developmental role through depending since its establishment on the geographic distribution policy and reaching clients at their locations. The branches network of the bank have reached 77 branches and offices that cover different areas in Jordan and Palestine. The bank had followed a conservative policy in dealing with different types of risks in order to commit to safety measures, build good reputation, and be able to sustain and develop.
